PETULA CLARK Berlin Live – SchwuZ – Berlin, Germany – April 28, 2016

SchwuZ, Berlin’s biggest, and my favorite, gay club. Petula Clark, an 83-year-old British Diva. A free concert. What an unusual combination. Ms Clark thought so too. “It’s always a pleasure to play in Germany. I don’t think I have ever played in quite such a place before. At least you all have your clothes on!” And she was right – tonight’s audience didn’t differ much from the regular SchwuZ audience, except slightly older and a bit more dressed. The night’s closing song Here Comes The Rainbow was a more than appropriate choice. And a beautiful ending to a memorable concert.
